WPM Real Estate Management announced today that it has appointed Melissa Gambuto to serve as President of its Multifamily Real Estate (MRE) division. Ms. Gambuto has been in the multifamily real estate industry for over 20 years, most recently serving as WPM’s Multifamily Director of Operations. As president, she will guide the future direction of the division and its 300 plus Associates across the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-South regions and join WPM’s executive management team.

“Since its inception, WPM has been intentional about building an organization with long-term sustainability,” notes WPM President James Dahlgren, Jr. “Melissa was brought on over two years ago to help drive the next generation of growth for WPM’s MRE division. Her values-based leadership and track-record of success will continue WPM’s strong culture of performance, helping MRE clients achieve their goals.”

Gambuto succeeds WPM co-founder and current division president, Leonard Frenkil, Jr., who will remain active as a principal with the company, leading the division’s strategic consulting work with clients, expanding its geographic footprint into Delaware, Pennsylvania and the Mid-South regions, and developing the next generation of multifamily leaders through teaching, training and mentoring.

“Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience, as well as a passion for building high-performing teams,” says Frenkil. “I look forward to working with her to build on all that we’ve accomplished to date and am excited about the opportunities ahead.”

Gambuto has spent her career in the multifamily residential industry, starting in property management as a leasing agent and moving through various management positions into leadership roles. She has managed a wide variety of property types, sizes and locations with companies such as Bozzuto, Greystar and Kettler, giving her a breadth of experience and industry knowledge of all aspects of MRE management.
