12-week program in Tampa this Fall will provide workforce development and apprenticeships
The Millionaire Mastermind Academy a nonprofit organization that aims to end poverty through entrepreneurship for minority women worldwide, and American Landmark, one of the country’s fastest-growing multifamily owner-operators in the country, are teaming up to help minority women entrepreneurs develop career skills in real estate and property management while further diversifying the industry.
The newly launched Millionaire Mastermind Academy Real Estate Accelerator Program is a 12-week program that equips and empowers minority women to combat poverty by equipping them with sustainable real estate and property management skills and experience. The program includes college-level business training, access to real estate licensing, training in property management and Fair Housing laws, as well as apprenticeship and mentorship opportunities.
Through its application process, Millionaire Mastermind Academy will select approximately 25 qualifying women to participate in the program, which runs from September 28th to December 21st, 2021, and consists of both virtual education and two in-person weekend intensives. The in-person training will be held at the American Landmark Training facility in Tampa, Fla.
“We know that the places we live, work and play impact our health and well-being. Through this new program focused on housing, we aim to provide career development that positively impacts the lives of every woman who participates and, in turn, every client they encounter,” said Dr. Velma Trayham, founder of the Millionaire Mastermind Academy. “This program will help diversify the real estate development and property management workforce, which will also support more equitable treatment for clients across the country.”
“American Landmark is pleased and proud to continue to partner with Dr. Trayham and Millionaire Mastermind Academy to bring education, equity and entrepreneurship to minority women with interest in business and the real estate space,” said American Landmark CEO Joe Lubeck. “To achieve equity and equality, we must improve access, and we are very excited to grow our relationship with MMA and these budding entrepreneurs.”
Participants who complete the program will receive an official certification of completion, access to an internship with American Landmark and an additional year of continued support from Millionaire Mastermind Academy. The program training will include choosing the right business, identifying target customers, branding and marketing, key metrics to track progress and more.
