New Addition Strengthens RangeWater’s Executive Leadership Team as the Rental Housing Company Continues its Strategic Expansion Across the Sun Belt and Mountain West
RangeWater Real Estate, a fully integrated rental housing company with assets across the Sun Belt and Mountain West, welcomes Jim Mauck as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. Mauck brings nearly three decades of experience to the RangeWater team.
In his role, Mauck will oversee the optimal capital structure and financing options for the firm, provide strategic direction, drive cash flow and performance, manage the accounting and finance departments, and support RangeWater’s long-term vision and mission.

Mauck’s attention to detail, wide-ranging industry knowledge, and collaborative leadership style have been impactful to his career spanning over 27 years. Most recently, Mauck served as Chief Financial Officer at RPM Living and its predecessor CF Real Estate Services, both full-service multifamily property management, investment, and development companies where he oversaw accounting, finance, risk management, and information technology, among other areas, during his tenure. He also served as the CFO for Key Property Services, a leader in the institutional single-family rental industry, and as CFO and COO for Miles Properties, a national owner, property manager, and developer of multifamily assets. Prior to joining Miles, Mauck served as vice president of finance for a division of Pulte Homes where he led the finance and human resources functions.

With Mauck as the latest addition, RangeWater continues to expand its tenured executive team as the company furthers its strategic growth into 2024. Recently appointed executives include Alp Kirmizioglu who was promoted to the position of Executive Managing Director of Construction for RangeWater Construction, the firm’s in-house construction division; Franco Minton, the first-ever Chief People Officer who leads the firm’s talent acquisition and employee engagement and Sherry Freitas who was promoted to Executive Managing Director of Property Management, spearheading the company’s strategic expansion across the Sun Belt and Mountain West Regions. Earlier this year, RangeWater hit a major milestone with 100,000 units under management.
Mauck has a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a double major in finance from Virginia Tech. He also obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in 1997. Mauck is an avid fan of the Virginia Tech Hokies and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children, traveling, running, and playing tennis.
