The Altman Companies, a nationally recognized developer of exceptional rental apartment communities, closed on the land and its construction loan and held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for its two newest developments in Miramar. Altman partnered with Rockpoint Group, a Boston-based real estate private equity firm, in the transaction. PNC Bank and Comerica Bank provided the construction loan for the development.

Located at the northwest corner of Red Road and Miramar Parkway in the City of Miramar is one of the last remaining garden development sites in Broward County.  The development consists of two distinct communities within a larger master-planned development that will feature spacious floorplans with energy-efficient appliances, designer kitchens, spa-inspired baths, private balconies and several with attached garages. Filled to the brim at the Altis Pembroke Gardens upscale pool area, over 200 guests gathered on June 16 to celebrate the community’s open house, visibly enjoying the extravagant pool party that was bustling with food trucks, signature cocktails, giveaways, and hosted by one of South Florida’s hottest radio personalities—Y100’s DJ Frankie P.   

 

With music booming and a signature sangria flowing throughout the afternoon, guests including both future and current residents were shown all of what Altis Pembroke Gardens has to offer. The heated saltwater pool was filled with colorful, candy- and unicorn-shaped pool floats, oversized beach balls were flying in the air, people were dancing, and some residents were enjoying it all from the comfort of their own balcony.

 

A MOD Pizza food truck was feeding guests with their artisan-style pizzas, and Hoffman’s Chocolate was cooling them down from the South Florida heat with gourmet ice cream and chocolate.

 

DJ Frankie P, who is a resident of Altis Pembroke Gardens, was set up poolside under a Y100-branded tent to pump up the crowd with good music and even better prizes. The heaps of giveaways included electric guitars of every color, Altis-branded towels in the property’s signature purple color, and tickets to see the Backstreet Boys at the Fontainbleau Hotel.

 

Two different pairs of ticket winners ended up signing a lease at Altis Pembroke Gardens later on during the open house.

 

“I grew up listening to the Backstreet Boys, so getting the opportunity from Y100 and Altis Pembroke Gardens to see them live right here in Miami is going to be an amazing experience,” said the contest winner.

 

This celebration was open to the public, and prospective residents were invited on tours of Altis Pembroke Gardens.
