Atlanta (January 2020) – 2019 was an extremely productive year for Stonemark Management. The firm also predicts more growth in 2020.

“We added 11 new communities to our portfolio, won several awards and dedicated time to helping others who are less fortunate,” said Stonemark President Walt Lamperski. This illustrates our strong commitments to both excellent client service and community involvement.”

In one of its biggest moves, Stonemark expanded into Texas with new management contracts for Lookout Hollow Luxury Apartment Homes near San Antonio and Palms at Cinco Ranch outside Houston. It also added nine more communities across the  Southeast, including:

* Camellia Trace, Jackson, TN

* Cherry Grove, Jackson, TN

* Cumberland Crossing, Marietta, GA

* Fields Carriage Hills, Montgomery, AL

* Fields One Center, Montgomery, AL

* Orchard Park, Greenville, SC

* Vinings Apartments, Smyrna, GA

* The Estates at Perimeter, Augusta, GA

* The Reserve at Ridgewood, Sandy Springs, GA

National honors bestowed include being named among the best workplaces in the multifamily industry. Honors include ranking in the Top 50 of the prestigious Best Places to Work Multifamily® competition. Stonemark is also among the Top 25 Best Workplaces for Women in Multifamily; the official ranking will be announced this March.

Our local efforts were rewarded with two awards in the Maintenance Mania competition in Birmingham, Alabama. Regina Williams earned “Regional Manager of the Year” from the Birmingham Apartment Association. The Atlanta Apartment Association honored “Membership Ambassadors” including Marygrace Navarro and Darlene Hunter.

In terms of giving back to the community, we helped The Atlanta Apartment Association Food-a-Thon raise enough donations to create 8.39 million meals for the hungry. We served treats at the Apartment Association of Greater Columbia’s golf tournament supporting Harvest Hope Food Bank. We assembled dozens of personal care packages for the homeless in United Way of Atlanta's Shoebox Challenge. We also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House.

“We expect more excellent results in 2020,” Lamperski concluded.
