Multifamily property management firm Stonemark Management has promoted Melissa Gill to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO.) She will also continue in her current role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Gill oversees Stonemark’s day-to-day-operations, designs and implements policies, implements strategic direction and supports the delivery of high-quality services to clients and associates.

Gill joined Stonemark as Director of Accounting in 2016, becoming CFO in 2021. Her background as an entrepreneur helps her view her financial responsibilities through a management lens. Her many accomplishments included reshaping Stonemark’s finance, accounting and reporting functions.
For example, upgraded IT systems create customized financial reporting for clients while allowing staff members to work remotely during the pandemic. She is also improving productivity through cross-training programs, which boost internal communication cooperation and a positive company culture.
