Tri Pointe Homes®, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S., announces the grand opening of Brookland Grove, a new townhome community in the heart of D.C. Acclaimed design expert and Emmy-nominated TV host Bobby Berk designed the interiors for community’s model homes, the Whitlow and Edgewood.

Located at 436 Holmwood Drive NE adjacent to the Brookland neighborhood of Washington D.C., Brookland Grove features 60 new three- and four-level townhomes with prices starting from the mid-$800s.

“Tri Pointe is known for our design-forward homes and innovation, so it felt like a natural fit to team up with Bobby Berk for our entrance into the D.C. market,” says Brad Blank, president of Tri Pointe Homes D.C. Metro Division. “Buyers will love the luxury designs at Brookland Grove and the fantastic, vibrant location.”

The Edgewood features the design scheme “Japandi” with warm neutrals, black, taupe grays, and rich caramel browns throughout the home. Offering a serene space that both invites and impresses, Berk and his design team combined light oak furniture, flooring and cabinetry with layered textures and pared-down patterns anchored by graphic black components. Scandinavian simplicity and functionality are emphasized with organic materials and nubby textures and are expressed through architectural elements like linear slatted wood, curved boucle chairs and sculptural paper lanterns.

Chic sophistication meets effortlessly cool in the Whitlow model. With the design scheme “Urban Mid Century,” the color palette includes slate blues, blush and pinky-beige, graphic black, white and grays. Berk used clean architectural details, sculptural shapes, and warm textural elements to create a dynamic, layered family home. The interior design features walnut furniture, flooring and cabinetry with saddle leather, warm brass accents and plumbing fixtures, textural brick tile, Black and Grey Silestone Counters, heathered gray fabrics and wool rugs.

“When designing at Brookland Grove, I drew inspiration from the surrounding neighborhood, which is known for its artistic vibe, historic tree-lined streets and plenty of green spaces,” says Berk. “The interiors at Edgewood and Whitlow provide stunning neutrals and warm, inviting elements akin to indoor/outdoor living.”

Tri Pointe Homes is hosting a model grand opening event on Saturday, February 4, which will be open to realtors and interested buyers. For more information, visit Brookland Grove or call 240.245.6796.
