Pura Vida Hialeah, the nine-acre major mixed-use development set to be the area’s first of its kind in more than 20 years, has received its temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO). Residents are currently moving in to the property.

Developed under the leadership of Miami-based Coral Rock Development Group, the project is poised to become the new epicenter of Hialeah. Since breaking ground in 2019, the visionary project has been leading the revitalization of Hialeah, transforming the area’s aging retail and residential offerings with the first new sleek contemporary designed vertical towers. Financing for the 260-residence project was provided by Principal Real Estate Investors.

“We are so proud to be delivering this new center of living in Hialeah,” said Michael Wohl, principal of Coral Rock Development Group. “We’re very grateful to the Mayor, city officials and investors who have long recognized our vision to create something extraordinary in this community.”

Ushering in a modern era for the neighborhood, Pura Vida Hialeah boasts a vibrant mix of apartment residences, popular restaurants, shops and other conveniences while providing an exceptional pedestrian-friendly lifestyle, adding a much-needed benefit to the densely populated community.

Bringing a taste of the Wynwood Walls to Hialeah, Coral Rock Development Group commissioned Juan Rozas of Rozas Studios – a well-established local artist acclaimed for his murals in the Wynwood area – to create a 25' x 50' mural on the southern face of Building 1.

Complete with unique designs throughout, the 5,000-square-foot clubhouse adjacent to the expansive pool deck was designed by renowned HGTV interior designer Patricia Rothman Brown, with features including a wet bar, pool table and living room with ample space for communal gathering.

Nearly leased out, Pura Vida has a limited assemblage of residences remaining with floorplans ranging in size from 538 square feet to 1,099 square feet. The market-rate rental residences include studios, one, two, and three-bedroom units. Featured amenities include a resort-style pool, state-of-the-art gym, BBQ area, dog park, biking center and 24-hour security staff for the convenience of residents.

Pura Vida Hialeah encompasses three eight-story residential towers consisting of 260 apartment units, with one tower offering approximately 11,000 square feet of ground floor retail; as well as three separate outparcels consisting of approximately 40,000 square feet of commercial retail space. Retail tenants include a Wawa convenience store and gas station, a Taco Bell restaurant, a Dollar Tree store and InnovaCare Health, with more to be announced in the coming months.

Situated on a prime corner at 3051 W 16th Avenue, Pura Vida Hialeah boasts a central location just minutes from major thoroughfares including I-75, the Palmetto Expressway, the Florida Turnpike and Okeechobee Road, offering direct access to Greater Miami and the surrounding areas.

The on-site leasing office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. For additional information, please call 305-614-1792 or visit www.puravidamia.com.
