Miami-based commercial real estate broker focuses on investment sales, brings over 15 years of experience to growing firm

Based in Miami, Pena has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate arena and specializes in multifamily investment properties.

 

A South Florida native and second-generation real estate professional, Pena’s extensive market knowledge and robust network provide a distinct competitive advantage. Prior to joining Lee & Associates South Florida, Pena served as an Associate with Marcus & Millichap. While there, she exclusively handled the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties and was an active member of the firm’s National Housing Group.

Erik Binkowski has joined the Lee & Associates, Washington D.C. Capital Markets Group as Principal, Debt and Structured Finance. Formerly Senior Vice President, Colliers International, Binkowski brings more than 22 years of diversified real estate and financing experience to the full-service brokerage and management firm with an international presence.

 In his new role, Binkowski will focus on the emerging needs of sponsors and investors for debt and equity financing for projects in all real estate classes situated around the country. This includes forming and strengthening relationships with development companies, institutional owners, private investors and real estate brokerage professionals. Binkowski will work in tandem with Josh Simon, President of Lee & Associates, Washington, D.C., as well as Pierson Kruetzer, Principal, who have been leading the Investment Sales activities of the D.C. office.

 Throughout his career, Binkowski has worked in senior roles at CBRE, JLL, Marcus & Millichap and Studley, with a specialization in executing structured transactions for the commercial office, industrial/warehouse, multifamily, retail, hotel and self-storage categories. He has worked on financings in all aspects of the debt cycle, from construction loans to bridge loans and permanent financings.

 Binkowski earned an Applied Baccalaureate degree in Economics from Harvard University, where he played on the Varsity Baseball team for four years, including serving as captain during his senior campaign. The Harvard-9 won three Ivy League Championships during his tenure.
