In lockstep with the consistent growth of its client roster and portfolio of units under management, KW Property Management & Consulting has opened a new West Palm Beach office and significantly expanded its Miami headquarters and Broward County regional office.

Founded by CPAs Paul Kaplan and Robert White in 2004, the Miami-based company has rapidly grown to a residential property management industry leader with more than 1,200 employees and 70,000 units under management covering nine regions in Florida and the Bahamas. KWPMC’s increased activity in Palm Beach County resulted in the need for a physical presence in the area. The new 1,742-square-foot office is located at 1645 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, Suite 570 in the heart of West Palm Beach.

Business Development Manager Jane Bracken, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, oversees the West Palm Beach office. The office has enough space to accommodate 10 full-time employees. KWPMC’s area portfolio includes the Seven Bridges luxury community in Delray Beach and the VistaBlue community in Singer Island.

In Broward County, KWPMC increased its regional office at 13794 NW Fourth Street in Sunrise by nearly 75 percent and doubled its staff size. The office now totals 3,100 square feet and accommodates 20 employees.

KWPMC’s Miami headquarters has grown by 3,749 square feet to a total of 15,472 square feet. The office can now accommodate 85 employees, up from 65.

“This is an exciting time for our company,” said Managing Director and Co-Founder Paul Kaplan. “Growth takes on many forms, and the opening of our new West Palm Beach office and expansion of our regional office in Broward County and headquarters in Miami offer tangible examples of that progress.”

KWPMC’s ascent is due in large part to the company’s creative, entrepreneurial and value-oriented approach to association management. In December, KWPMC was named Best Multi-Family Property Management Firm in the Daily Business Review’s “Best of 2017” issue. It was also included in the “Best of 2017 Hall of Fame,” which recognizes companies that have been ranked in the top two in a category over the past three years.

That honor followed the completion of a multi-pronged rebranding effort highlighted by the launch of a brand-new website, company tagline and programming aimed at enhancing the lives of the residents it serves.

The programming component included KWPMC hosting the well-attended “Improving Property Values in Condominiums” panel discussion at the Four Seasons West Palm Beach on Nov. 30. The event focused on how condo communities can increase real estate values for owners.

“Having a physical presence in growth markets like West Palm Beach allows us to further enhance the lives and experience of the people and communities we serve,” said Managing Director and Co-Founder Robert White. “We look forward to continuing our momentum in 2018 and beyond.”

MIAMI BEACH – Nov. 3, 2017 –Condominium and Homeowners Association boards are often associated with thoughts of stress and conflict. Bearing that in mind, premier residential property management company KW Property Management & Consulting is partnering with South Beach studio Innergy Meditation to hold the inaugural “Stress Management for Condominium Boards” workshop on Wednesday, November 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The alliance with Innergy is part of a series of innovative programming KWPMC has launched with the motivation to enhance the lives of the residents it serves and provide them with skills that go well beyond sound oversight of their Association. Last month, the company announced a multi-pronged rebranding effort highlighted by the launch of a brand-new website (www.kwpmc.com) and company tagline – “We don’t just manage – we enhance.” The new mantra reflects KWPMC’s operating philosophy of going above and beyond the scope of property management.

At the upcoming workshop, KWPMC and Innergy will aid people in coping with the challenges and pressures of serving on a Condo or Homeowners Association board through Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques.

Called “Stress Management for Condominium Boards,” this event will give attendees healthy ways to deal with financial pressures, upset residents, maintenance headaches and everything else that comes along with life while serving as a volunteer on an Association Board of Directors. The event has three experienced panelists to lead the discussion:

  • Shelly Tygielski, MBSR Instructor and Mindfulness Expert
  • Rosa de la Camara, Attorney, Becker & Poliakoff
  • Tim O’Keefe, Director, KWPMC

“It’s important for people to realize that stress can have a negative impact on both work performance and crisis outcomes,” Tygielski said. “Through this workshop, I provide attendees with practical tools to help them alleviate stress, learn how to respond instead of react and begin to manage stress in a healthy and positive way.”

“Sometimes when people think of volunteering to serve as an officer on their Condo or Homeowners Association, they think of added stress and pressure that they may be inviting into their lives,” said O’Keefe. “But volunteering on a Board can also be really gratifying and we hope that by providing stress management techniques we can help to enhance the lives of our residents and board members well beyond their communities. These are tools they can incorporate into all areas of their life. We are excited to launch this series of programming.”

Founded by CPAs Paul Kaplan and Robert White in 2004, Miami-based KWPMC has grown its portfolio well beyond 65,000 units under management in nine regions in Florida, New York and the Bahamas.

Innergy Meditation is located at 1560 Lenox Ave. Suite 102, Miami Beach. Healthy snacks and juices will be served.
