Construction is proceeding on Five43 Apartments, an upscale multifamily community situated in the Bel Air section of Harford County, Maryland which, upon its scheduled completion in early 2024, will offer a modern, mid-rise living environment with unique design features highlighted by above-average unit sizes and a full-range of amenities to residents. The project, positioned at the intersection of US 1 and MD Route 543, is a development of Lutherville-based Peak Management, LLC, an affiliate company of Hill Management Services, Inc. Leasing activities are expected to commence this fall.

Five43 Apartments will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes ranging from 980 to 1900 square feet.. The apartments will have nine-foot ceilings, open kitchen areas with a stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops, luxury flooring, dressing room-sized walk-in closets, full-size washers/dryers, gas fireplaces and lofts in select units, and private balconies. The apartment homes will also be outfitted with Smart Home Technology which allows residents to program their thermostats and enjoy remote access into the buildings and apartment homes as well as amenity areas. Private garages, contained in a separate building, will also be available to rent.

According to Teresa Rosier, Vice President of Peak Management, “Residents are increasingly attracted to larger unit sizes to accommodate people working remotely, having multiple people living within the space and for empty-nesters that may be downsizing from a single-family home. Several apartments will feature a unique loft design that can be used for an entertainment center, workspace, additional bedroom or for overflow storage,” she explained.

Community amenities incorporated in the multifamily development will be highlighted by a resort-style pool and a clubhouse containing a transitional gathering room that extends to the outdoor kitchen area and lounge during warmer months. On-site fitness classes will also be available within the well-equipped fitness center.  Pampered pet amenities will include an on-site dog wash facility with dryer and a large dog park stocked with agility equipment.    

The development is bordered by the Hickory Bypass, US Route 1 and North Fountain Green Road. A number of retail amenities can be accessed in minutes including neighborhood grocery stores and both sit-down and fast-casual restaurants, with the Main Street section of downtown Bel Air situated four miles away. Several business communities are located nearby and the campus of Harford Community College is approximately three miles from the site. MedStar Health and UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center are also within close proximity.

Five43 Apartments is located in Bel Air school district to include Hickory Elementary, Southampton Middle School, and C. Milton Wright High School.
