Situated at 12639 Coit Road, The Briscoe is ideally located near Medical City Dallas. LMC, a leader in apartment development and management, today announced it has broken ground on Vireo, a luxury apartment community in the city’s thriving Midtown district.
The high-rise development, to feature 310 apartment homes, is situated amidst the cultural pulse of the city in a walkable, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. LMC broke ground on Aug. 21 and initial move-ins are anticipated for spring 2019.
“Midtown is an eclectic market that features a little bit of everything, and we’re excited for the opportunity to become a part of it,” said Chris Cassidy, Division President of the Southeast for LMC. “We believe Vireo, with its instant access to the neighborhood and close proximity to Peachtree Street, will provide an unmatched living experience.”
As part of the development process, LMC’s ground-level efforts will allow the sidewalks on 13th Street to be widened, which will assist the area in its transition into a more pedestrian-friendly locale. To enable residents to experience and take part of that vibe, Vireo will include ground-level terrace porches along 13th Street.
Situated at 195 13th Street NE, Vireo is superbly positioned within blocks of Midtown’s restaurants, museums, theaters, nightlife options and flourishing job sector. The community also is one block away from Piedmont Park, which is known as the outdoor epicenter of the city. LMC, a leader in apartment development and management, today announced the topping off of two luxury apartment communities, Valdok and Axle, in Seattle. Structural framing was finished at Valdok’s first building in the city’s Ballard neighborhood on Aug. 10. Axle, located in the Interbay neighborhood, topped off on Sept. 1.
Valdok, a seven-story luxury development, will feature 178 apartment homes. Axle, which is pursuing LEED Gold certification, will offer 226 apartment homes contained within eight stories. First move-ins at Valdok and Axle are anticipated during the summer of 2018.

Situated at 1701 NW 56th Street, Valdok’s two buildings are located across 56th Street from one another in northwestern Seattle. The community design was inspired by the Valdok family’s deep Scandinavian roots and heritage, and embraces the neighborhood’s Northern European history as it continues to evolve. The community is near a working waterfront bustling with some of Seattle’s trendiest bars, shops and dining spots. Ballard’s convenience to downtown jobs via the Ballard Bridge and 15th Ave NW makes it appealing to those who work downtown or in South Lake Union but aspire to experience a quintessential Seattle neighborhood.
Axle, located at 3230 16th Avenue West, links the Queen Anne, Magnolia and Ballard neighborhoods. The area has become a burgeoning hub for multifamily communities. LMC, a leader in apartment development and management, today announced the addition of electric vehicle charging from ChargePoint, Inc., the world’s largest EV charging network, to IndiGO at BCS, a luxury apartment community located in Bloomington, Minn.
The six-story, 395-apartment development features 13 EV charging spots that are leasable for residents, who have already started utilizing the spaces, and two public spots open to visitors. The 15 total places to charge at IndiGO at BCS mark ChargePoint’s largest installation of EV charging spots outside of Seattle and California.
“We do everything we can to check every box on a prospective resident’s wish list, and we’re seeing a growing trend of electric vehicle drivers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area,” said Travis Nordgaard, development associate for LMC. “We are extremely excited about the partnership with ChargePoint and the opportunity it gives LMC to demonstrate green, sustainable values.”
EV sales increased by 37 percent in 2016, according to Forbes, and the Midwest has been part of that boom. LMC partnered with the City of Bloomington to invest in EV charging, providing publically accessible charging options not only for residents of IndiGO at BCS, but for visitors and nearby office users as well.
Electric vehicle drivers will have the luxury of modern convenience through ChargePoint’s mobile app, which allows users to find an available charging spot, start a charge, receive notifications, track and schedule charging sessions, and manage energy usage.
