Center Park Group, a leading general contractor and homebuilder specializing in build-to-rent (BTR) development across the Southeast, today announced that construction is underway at Berkshire on Clements Ferry, a 192-home townhome community in Charleston, South Carolina. Vertical construction commenced in April 2025, with leasing anticipated to begin this summer.

As general contractor, Center Park Group is delivering both the vertical construction and community amenities on behalf of TBC Development. Berkshire on Clements Ferry is designed to offer residents the comfort and functionality of single-family living, paired with the efficiency and convenience of a professionally managed rental community.

The townhomes will feature three-story floor plans with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and one-car garages, ranging from approximately 1,174 to 1,182 square feet. Homes will include open-concept living spaces, private bedroom layouts and outdoor areas, creating a flexible living environment suited for young professionals, families and renters seeking a lock-and-leave lifestyle within Charleston’s growing metro area.

“Berkshire on Clements Ferry reflects the continued demand for thoughtfully designed rental housing that delivers both quality and long-term performance,” said Jason Esposito, President of Center Park Group. “We’re proud to partner with the TBC Development team to bring this community to life and deliver a product that is not only well-built but intentionally designed for how residents live today and how these assets perform over time.”

The 46.7-acre community is planned to maintain a neighborhood feel, with a significant portion of the site preserved as open space. Amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool with cabana, playground, dog park, hammock stations and an extensive network of walking trails.

Located in Berkeley County, Berkshire on Clements Ferry offers convenient access to the Philip Simmons school system, with connected trails providing direct access to the elementary, middle and high schools. Residents will also be within walking and biking distance of Point Hope Commons, a 90,000-square-foot retail center anchored by Publix, featuring dining, medical and everyday shopping options.

Center Park Group, a BTR general contractor and home builder, announces that land development is underway at Cadia Grandview, a 65-home rental townhome community located across from Raleigh’s renowned Crabtree Valley Mall. The community broke ground in January 2026, with leasing expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027.

Center Park Group is serving as the general contractor for the project and will construct the community’s amenity and townhomes on behalf of Pappas Properties LLC, a Charlotte-based developer recognized for delivering mixed-use and residential communities across the Southeast with a focus on intentional design and lifestyle-driven amenities. Cardinal Civil Contracting is leading land development and site work as the project moves toward vertical construction later this year.

“Successful build-to-rent communities depend on strong collaboration between developers and builders who deliver consistent quality and keep projects moving on schedule,” said Brian Herring, Raleigh Division President of Center Park Group. “We’re proud to partner with Pappas Properties on a project that reflects the long-term growth of the Raleigh market.”

The two- and three-story townhomes at Cadia Grandview will range from approximately 1,500 to 1,800 square feet and offer a mix of three-bedroom layouts designed to provide modern, convenient living within the Raleigh market.

Amenities at Cadia Grandview will include a clubhouse with a fully equipped fitness center and outdoor gathering spaces, along with a resort-style pool and a dog park designed to support an active and social lifestyle for residents.

“This is one of the most dynamic and well-located sites in the Raleigh market, and we’re excited to bring the Cadia brand’s focus on wellness, design and community to the Triangle,” said Tom Walsh, EVP and COO of Pappas Properties. “We’re pleased to officially break ground on Cadia Grandview with Center Park Group.”

Situated across from the acclaimed Crabtree Valley Mall, the community offers proximity to premier shopping, dining and entertainment. Residents will also have access to the Crabtree Creek Trail, a greenway offering miles of walking and biking paths throughout the area.

Cadia Grandview offers convenient access to several of the region’s major employment centers, including Research Triangle Park, Downtown Raleigh, North Raleigh, Downtown Durham and Duke Medical Center. The community is also located within the Wake County Public School System, with nearby public schools serving multiple grade levels.

Saxum Real Estate develops residential communities that reflect the rhythm of modern life, designed for how people truly live, work and connect today. The community will feature a curated amenity package, including a clubhouse, pool and pickleball courts, along with outdoor recreation spaces such as a pocket park, playground, dog park and walking trails. 5115 Auburn Church Road will be professionally managed by Rangewater Property Management.
