Sunrise Management Adds to San Diego County Portfolio

Expanding its hometown presence, San Diego-based Sunrise Management, which has specialized in managing multifamily properties since 1978, has taken over day-to-day management of 23 San Diego County multifamily communities totaling 632 units. The apartment portfolio is owned by Positive Investments, Inc. of Arcadia, Calif.

 

According to Sunrise CEO and president Joe Greenblatt, his company will assume the marketing, leasing and day-to-day operations of the following San Diego County properties – located in San Diego, National City, Spring Valley, El Cajon and Lemon Grove – all owned by Positive Investments:

 

·      28th and Island Apartments, 27 units at 525 28th Street in San Diego

·       41st Apartments, 10 units at 3707 41st Street in San Diego

·      49th Street Apartments, 10 units at 375 49th Street in San Diego

·      Towle Court, 48 units at 5101 Towle Court in San Diego

·      The Plaza Apartments, 72 units at 1438 E. 8th Street in National City

·      National Avenue Apartments, 39 units at 3933 National Avenue in National City

·      San Diego Street Apartments, 8 units at 9360 San Diego Street in Spring Valley

·      Troy Street Apartments, 8 units at 8949 Troy Street in Spring Valley

·      Grand Avenue Apartments, 10 units at 415 Grand Avenue in Spring Valley

·      Spring Valley Apartments, 12 units at 9258 Birch Street in Spring Valley

“These new properties significantly expand our San Diego presence, where we have operated for more than 40 years, positioning us for robust growth throughout the region,” Greenblatt said.

 

The firm currently has regional offices in Sacramento, Las Vegas, Portland and Phoenix with a portfolio of more than 14,000 units throughout the west.
