ROSS Management Services, a leader in multifamily property management in the Mid-Atlantic region, today announced the hiring of Tony Perichino as assistant vice president of operations. Perichino comes to ROSS from The Tower Companies, where he served as director of residential management, and brings 18 years of multifamily and commercial real estate experience, including his past tenure as a regional property manager for ROSS.

Perichino oversees third-party assignments for ROSS in the metro D.C. and Baltimore markets and assists with business development initiatives.

"We are thrilled to add Tony's considerable talents and experience to the outstanding team we've built at ROSS," said Dave Miskovich, CEO of ROSS Companies, the parent company of ROSS Management Services. "He was an excellent regional property manager for us and brings a wealth of industry knowledge and enthusiasm to our business operations. Tony will play a crucial role in our portfolio growth and strategic business development as ROSS continues to expand and strengthen its presence within the Washington, D.C., area, Richmond, Va., and North and South Carolina."

At The Tower Companies, Perichino oversaw $503 million of mixed-use real estate, and was rigorously involved in new high-rise construction. He overhauled the organizational structure of the residential division and served on the company’s Executive Committee.

Before joining The Tower Companies, Perichino was regional manager for Riverstone Residential/Greystar and, before that, investment manager and regional education director for Pinnacle Family of Companies, where he was the 2010 Investment Manager of the Year. Perichino also has served as a regional property manager for ROSS and Sawyer Realty Holdings LLC.

Perichino joins ROSS during a time when the company is strategically expanding its geographic reach beyond the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. In 2015, ROSS opened an office in Richmond, Va., where it now manages eight communities. The company also has expanded into Newport News, Va., and Winston-Salem, N.C.

"I am thrilled to be rejoining ROSS Management Services," Perichino said. "This company has an outstanding reputation within the multifamily industry and in the markets it operates, and I am really looking forward to working with such a talented team and assisting with business development efforts."

Perichino holds an RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation from BOMI Institute and received the CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation from the National Apartment Association in 2001. He has also earned a LEED® Green Associate designation, is a member of the Property Management Association (PMA), and served as a board member of Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce (GSSCC) in 2015-16, where he also served on the Government Affairs and Economic Development committees.
