FOGELMAN PROPERTIES EXPANDS TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT WITH APPOINTMENT OF TWO NEW EXECUTIVE ROLES

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 20, 2022: Fogelman Properties, one of the country’s largest, privately-owned and fully integrated multifamily investment and property management companies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Young as Vice President of Shared Services and the appointment of Josh Siddon as the company’s first Vice President of Information Technology. The roles are part of a larger strategic company investment in advancing technology and improving resident satisfaction. 

 

Young has been with Fogelman for more than 15 years, previously serving as Manager of Business Systems, Systems Coordinator and Project Manager. In her new role as Vice President of Shared Services, Young will oversee all business systems, providing strategic direction for property management software and new technology products. Young now leads the systems support & training, system administration and property management program teams. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor's degree in Professional Studies.

Siddon brings nearly 25 years of experience across multiple industries to the new role at Fogelman. As VP of IT, he is responsible for creating, executing, and supporting the overall business strategy for information technology at Fogelman, including systems administration – network and cloud – data warehousing, and telecom.  

 

Prior to joining Fogelman, Siddon served as VP of IT at Old Time Pottery, where he led the modernization and integration of IT systems. Siddon also served as SVP of IT at Fred’s Inc., where he spearheaded the company’s digital transformation strategy and created a new vision for large IT functions. He graduated from Colorado Technical University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an IT focus. 

 

Fogelman plans to continue growing its IT teams to execute the next-generation technology strategy to position the company for future business growth. The company’s investment is heavily influenced by an increase in customer expectations for a digital-first approach.
