24 August 2022

Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has announced the selection of Jennifer Power as Vice President of Capital Markets. In this role, Jennifer will oversee CRC’s financing activities including all refinance and acquisition activities and corporate and investment fund-level credit facilities. Jennifer will serve as the primary representative for all of CRC’s lending relationships.

Jennifer spent the past 19 years working with KeyBank Real Estate Capital in Atlanta, GA within the bank’s Institutional Real Estate Group. Jennifer will continue to reside in Atlanta, where she will join other CRC team members based in the region.

Most recently, Jennifer served as Senior Vice President at Key Bank where she was responsible for providing both debt and equity capital solutions for institutional-grade real estate platforms (public and private REITs, private equity funds, and large private operators) with a primary focus on lending within the multifamily, industrial, and retail sectors.  Jennifer has structured, negotiated, and originated over $20 billion of corporate financings as the lead lender, including revolving credit lines, secured project loans, corporate term loans, mezzanine loans and subordinate loans.   Jennifer has extensive experience managing bank group syndicates and possesses in-depth knowledge across the public and permanent debt markets (Agency, Life Company, CMBS, Debt Fund), real estate investment banking, interest rate derivatives and treasury management.

Jennifer also spent time in Key’s Asset Recovery Group in the depths of the Great Recession, responsible for resolving troubled credit for a portfolio that included corporate credit facilities, individual asset-secured loans and land loans. During this challenging market time, Jennifer worked closely with borrowers to evaluate loan restructures, note sales, discounted payoffs and asset sales.

“Jennifer is coming to us with nearly two decades of commercial lending experience, providing expertise in sophisticated debt structures and strategies,” stated Haley Donato, CRC’s Vice President of Asset Management and Finance. “CRC is, and will always be, an incredibly relationship-focused organization. In addition to Jennifer’s impressive origination history, she shares our firm’s focus on the importance of long-term relationships with our lending partners. Jennifer’s experience with a wide range of debt and equity solutions is incredibly important as we continue our nationwide growth,” Donato added.

Jennifer is an alumna of Ashland University where she earned her degree in Finance and Economics.
