KW PROPERTY MANAGEMENT & CONSULTING, a premier residential property management company and one of Florida’s fastest-growing private companies overall, made a significant addition to its team serving Central and North Florida with Gloria Hughes, new Regional Vice President for the Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville markets.

Hughes brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare and quality assurance, focusing on workforce development, team management and supporting high-performing organizations. Previously, Hughes was Vice President of Operations for Meridian Senior Living Facilities. She also played a key role in the largest healthcare acquisition to date between two of the largest publicly traded senior living corporations and was a key contributor in transitioning the two companies’ culture, platforms and employees successfully over an 18-month period.

“Gloria’s extensive operations background and ability to strategically develop key markets north of South Florida will give us a major boost,” KWPMC Senior Vice President Zuly Maribona said. “We see tremendous opportunity for growth in Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville.”

As part of her past responsibilities, Hughes managed portfolios of over 4,800 units across multiple states in the Southeast U.S. She has had diverse oversight of new acquisitions, developments and emergency management contracts on distressed portfolios.

“I am excited to join the KWPMC team and support what it is building in these critical Florida markets,” Hughes said. “There are many transferrable skills I will bring from my healthcare experience to add value to KWPMC’s operations.”

Hughes earned a Bachelor of Business in Management from the University of Phoenix and is a licensed nurse in the State of Florida. She has served on numerous boards within the Southwest United States and most recently on the board formed by the State of Florida to support the implementation of Covid-19 guidelines in healthcare and public settings.

KWPMC’s incredible growth and entrepreneurial success is resulting in prestigious awards and recognitions regionally and nationally. For the third consecutive year, the company was featured on Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list - a ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. KWPMC was also recognized in the last two Inc. 5000 Regionals lists of the fastest-growing private companies in Florida.
