New leadership and plans for growth for CFLane!
CFLane is proud to announce the addition of key leadership roles as well as internal promotions which contribute to the overall organizational growth. These additions create value, drive excellence and enable their teams to provide unparalleled customer service. As CFLane works to upgrade their operating platform, these internal promotions will allow their senior leaders to perform optimally and ensure success for their firm.
We are pleased to share that Jim Mauck has joined CFLane as the Chief Financial Officer. Jim joined CFLane in March and oversees accounting, finance, risk management and IT. Prior to joining CFLane, Jim held the CFO role for Key Property Services, a leader in the institutional single-family rental industry. Jim formerly served as CFO and COO for Miles Properties, a national owner, property manager and developer of multifamily assets that managed over 20,000 units at its peak. Jim was hired just before the wind down of operations at Miles and his assistance was instrumental during this process. Prior to joining Miles, Jim served as VP-Finance for a division of Pulte Homes where he led the finance and HR functions for the division and played a key role in the division's growth. He has also held the CFO role for an IT services company, various management positions at US Airways and started his career with KPMG. Jim has a BS in Accounting and Certificate of Double Major in Finance from Virginia Tech. He also obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in 1997.
Additionally, we welcome Ryan Perez who also joined the CFLane team last month and will hold the position of Vice President of Marketing where she leads all corporate and property branding, communications, reputation management, social presence and advertising. She brings an extensive knowledge of the multifamily sector of real estate with 12 years of experience in the industry. Ryan most recently held the position of Vice President of Marketing for Landmark Apartment Trust, a Tampa based REIT with approximately 25,000 units. During her tenure at Landmark, she was responsible for a company-wide rebrand, advertising, marketing, social media, online reputation management and operational based growth of each asset as it correlated to overall visibility and exposure. In addition to overseeing all marketing platforms, Ryan works closely with the operations analytics department to maximize property performance by monitoring, tracking and analyzing performance data portfolio-wide. Ryan earned her MBA from the University of Illinois and her Bachelors of Arts degree in English and Technical Writing from Bradley University. She also holds her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation through the Atlanta Apartment Association.
Sharon Hatfield has been promoted to President of Property Management Operations. Sharon joined CFLane in January 2015 as SVP of Operations and since her arrival she has provided leadership and execution to our Property Management teams. In her expanded role, Sharon will continue to have responsibility for providing operational and marketing leadership but will also begin overseeing the Student Housing division, Human Resources, and Education. Initiatives for Sharon in 2016 include enhancing standard operating procedures and playbook, building a robust marketing support team, and focusing on talent as the firm continues to find ways to enhance training and attract the top candidates in the industry. Sharon will relocate to Atlanta in 2016 but will continue to have close ties to Nashville, TN as it is considered a market of interest for CFLane and its clients.
Jinger Lane will fill Sharon's prior role and has been promoted to Senior Vice President-Operations. Jinger, based in Dallas, will have primary responsibility for providing leadership to the Regional Operating teams. Working with the Regional Vice Presidents directly in their respective markets, she will support the activities and responsibilities of each Region and will be focused on helping us drive toward business excellence. Jinger joined CFLane in early 2015 and has also had a great impact on the operations teams and will be helping to improve client relations, elevate the operating platform and identify top teams in the field.
Lastly, Raymond Van Beveren has been elevated to Executive Vice President of Construction and Facility Services. Raymond joined CFLane in November 2013 as SVP and has been instrumental in providing support to the Construction Services, Business Services, and Maintenance teams. Raymond will continue supporting these groups and will begin leading the construction management of development initiatives. A major goal for his department in the upcoming year is to fully integrate the facilities platform across all departments in order to streamline efficiencies and reduce operating and construction costs.
