Leading multifamily developer breaks ground on 318-unit mixed-use community

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — U.S. Development is poised to imminently begin construction of Salato Pompano Beach, the first boutique ultra-luxury development of its kind nestled along the city’s coastline. The developer is beginning to mobilize for groundbreaking after the Sept. 26 loan closing of a $73.8 million construction facility provided by Maxim Capital Group and BH3 Management. The project’s completion is expected before the end of the 2026 season.

Housing Trust Group (HTG), a leading multifamily developer, in partnership with AM Affordable Housing, a non-profit founded by NBA Hall of Famer and Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning, and alongside The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Ancient Free And Accepted Masons Of Florida, Inc., a Florida Non-Profit Corporation, have successfully secured financing and commenced construction on Grand East Village, a $30 million affordable senior housing community in Orlando, Florida.
