The investors in the project include Peruvian-based V&V Group, along with additional private investors. V&V is the leading real estate development company with more than 25 years of experience that ventured into the U.S. market late last year, building a fast footprint in the Florida market with eight portfolio projects in Aventura, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, Port Charlotte, Cocoa Village, and now Orlando.

“We saw a truly unique opportunity to invest in Orlando market due to its unparalleled tourism growth, being arguably the most premier vacation rental location in the world,” says Fernando de Nunez y Lugones, Principal of Location3 Investments & UNCG, and the individual responsible for V&V’s involvement. “The project has attracted a great deal of attention from prospective buyers who recognize that there will be a demand from vacation renters looking for an enhanced experience and lifestyle.”

“The experience at Visions is what will set it aside from other Orlando’s vacation rentals,” continues Thorne. “Those accustomed to impersonal communities will find Visions to be a breath of fresh air where they will be able to create memories of a lifetime outside of the amusement parks.”

Construction of the initial phase of the single-family homes and townhouses is scheduled to begin in Q2 2023, with initial completions Q2 2024, including the Hotel component.

Visions is the second successful launch of a residential real estate project for UNCG in Orlando. The company recently sold 75% of The Flats Resort & Spa, a 160-unit, wellness-certified, boutique condo hotel located in the heart of Kissimmee, that will span two acres and offer luxurious health-conscious amenities. The Flats Orlando will offer fully furnished studios, and one-, two- and three-bedroom units that range from 440-square-feet to 1,485-square-feet, which has already broken ground.
