CF Evans Construction Names Charles Blankinship Vice President of Business Development

CF Evans Construction, one of the Southeast’s leading multifamily general contractors, announced the appointment of Charles Blankinship as vice president of business development.

 

In his new role, Blankinship will lead the company’s business development strategy, focusing on cultivating client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting continued growth across CF Evans’ multifamily and mixed-use construction portfolio throughout the Southeast.

 

Blankinship brings more than 20 years of experience in construction-related business development, with a career centered on relationship-building, preconstruction support, and strategic pursuit of projects across multifamily, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, and education sectors.

 

Prior to joining CF Evans Construction, Blankinship spent more than 18 years at Samet Corporation, where he served as market development manager and played a key role in expanding client relationships and advancing new construction opportunities. Earlier in his career, he held director-level business development roles at Matthews Construction, FN Thompson/BE&K, and Miller Building Corp., working closely with developers, architects, engineers, and brokers to support complex project across multiple markets.

Blankinship earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in economics and banking from Appalachian State University. He is actively involved with industry organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), NAIOP, and the North Carolina Economic Development Association, and has also volunteered with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte for more than 29 years, including serving on the Board of Managers for the Brace Family Y and supporting the Y Readers literacy program.
