Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company active in 13 states and with a portfolio value exceeding $4 billion, has announced the promotion of Rachel Young to Senior Asset Manager, Multifamily Division. Young, who has worked for CRC since 2023, has more than 12 years of diversified commercial real estate and asset management experience, and was most recently Asset Manager, Multifamily.

In her continuing role with the company, Young will oversee the financial performance of a portion of CRC’s multifamily portfolio in Georgia and the Carolinas. This includes managing the business plan, capital project management, lender compliance, budget review and approval as well as reporting to internal and external stakeholders.  Young will also collaborate with CRC’s acquisitions team to assist with due diligence activities related to underwriting and she will lead disposition activity in her portfolio. Young works from the Raleigh area, where CRC owns and manages The Edison Lofts, St. Mary’s Square Apartments, The Village Apartments and St. Mary’s Square North Apartments.

Before joining CRC, Young handled asset management responsibilities for Hudson Capital Properties, CAHEC Management and JP Morgan, and also held a role as an acquisitions analyst for Lidl. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and her Master of Public Policy from the George Mason University Schar School of Policy and Government.

“Rachel consistently demonstrates the ability to independently handle all facets of her job responsibilities and continues to grow by spearheading new initiatives,” said Elisabeth Mygatt, CRC’s Vice President, Asset Management. “Rachel is regarded as an expert on the markets where her projects are located, which facilitates her sound decision-making adding value across departments.”
