ANF, a leading South Florida-based construction and development firm, celebrated a significant milestone with the topping out of Rhapsody at Rainbow Village, a $185 million mixed-use affordable housing community in Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood, on Sept. 3rd. The event marks a major step forward in delivering one of the region’s largest affordable housing developments.

Developed by Housing Trust Group (HTG), Rhapsody at Rainbow Village will feature 310 affordable apartments and nearly 12,000 square feet of retail space across a 698,000-square-foot site at 2000 NW 3rd Ave. The community will offer extensive resident-focused amenities including a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, business center, daycare, playground, courtyards, theatre room, juice bar, bike storage, study areas, and a community center with kitchen.

“Reaching the topping out milestone at Rhapsody at Rainbow Village is a proud achievement for our entire team,” said Al Fernandez, CEO of ANF. “This development is more than just a building- it is an investment in Miami’s future and a commitment to creating safe, high-quality, and affordable housing for families who need it most in the Overtown community. We’re honored to partner with Housing Trust Group in bringing this transformative vision to life.”

Construction on Rhapsody at Rainbow Village began in June 2025, following a groundbreaking ceremony attended by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Commissioner Keon Hardemon, Commissioner Christine King, and Housing Trust Group President and CEO Matthew Rieger, among other notable leaders. The project is expected to be completed in early 2027.
