City Leaders, Healthcare, and Real Estate Experts Highlight Hollywood’s Growth at One Hollywood Residences Event

One Hollywood Residences, a highly anticipated luxury condominium development by Star Developers Group, welcomed more than 60 South Florida real estate brokers for an exclusive panel discussion on the future of Hollywood and its growing reputation as one of the region’s most desirable places to live, work, and invest.

The hour-long conversation brought together some of the city’s most influential voices, including Hollywood Mayor Josh Levy, Paul Gaden, CEO of Memorial Regional Hospital, Edgardo Defortuna, President & CEO of Fortune International Group, Tal Cohen, local business owner and Hollywood resident, and Maria Elena Plasencia, Sales Director for Fortune International Group.

Panelists shared insights on a range of topics: 

  • Mayor Levy highlighted the city’s significant infrastructure investments, revitalization initiatives, and commitment to enhancing quality of life for residents.
  • Paul Gaden discussed Memorial Healthcare Hospital’s expansion plans and the critical role healthcare access plays in supporting the city’s growth.
  • Edgardo Defortuna spoke to Hollywood’s momentum as a real estate market, underscoring why national and international buyers are increasingly looking to invest now.
  • Tal Cohen offered a local perspective, reflecting on Hollywood’s tight-knit business community and unique lifestyle appeal.

The event was held at the 2,700-square-foot One Hollywood Residences Sales Center at 1939 Hollywood Boulevard.
