Following many months of planning, reorganizing and onboarding, Reno, Nevada-based CloudTen Residential has announced its merger with Reno-based multifamily management firm Gaston Wilkerson – creating a high-profile residential property management company with 210 employees and over 8,000 units throughout the West and Pacific Northwest. The expanded company operates under the CloudTen brand.

With the merger of Gaston Wilkerson and its 32 employees, CloudTen will now provide jobs and key benefits to 32 additional employees.

According to Jessica Weil, regional vice president of CloudTen, this friendly merger brings 22 properties and 1,371 units into the CloudTen portfolio, a rapidly growing residential management brand focused on driving best in class outcomes by adopting cutting edge technology. “The dynamic combination of Gaston Wilkerson and CloudTen unites the complementary strengths of two highly recognized and trusted property management brands,” Weil said. “Gaston Wilkerson has had an established presence in Reno for many years. While CloudTen is a newer presence here, it has a robust technology platform along with modern practices to elevate and expedite operations. The integration of these companies has allowed CloudTen to expand its cutting-edge services in the Reno region and keep long-term team members on board, while enhancing efficiency and innovation – ultimately delivering greater value and opportunities to both residents and employees.”

The newly expanded company specializes in the full range of multifamily property management functions, including day-to-day management, acquisition and advisory services, maintenance, leasing and marketing.

Challenging the industry’s status quo, CloudTen was launched in 2022 as a technology-centric, more nimble property management firm. From streamlining traditional move-in and -out experiences to offering customized resident services to creating solutions to make maintenance issues as hassle free as possible, the operation is bolstered by proactive, digital communications.
