Vesper Holdings ("Vesper"), a privately-held real estate investment firm based in New York City, is pleased to announce the launch of its in-house student housing management company Campus Life & Style (CLS) to manage its rapidly growing portfolio of off campus apartment communities.  With over 10,000 beds spread across 12 markets, Vesper's student housing portfolio is one of the largest in the nation.

CLS' senior leadership team features the most experienced and respected line-up of student housing professionals in the United States.  With well over 100 years of combined student housing experience, CLS' executive team was assembled with one goal in mind: to be the best student housing operator in the space.

Based in Austin, Texas, CLS is helmed by industry veteran Jim Sholders who serves as Chief Operating Officer.   Prior to joining CLS, Mr. Sholders served as Senior Vice President at American Campus Communities (ACC) and was responsible for the overall fiscal operations, asset management, leasing and personnel supervision over ACC's 170 property portfolio.

CLS brings a fresh approach to student housing, one driven by the desire today's college students have for a higher standard of residential living, including beautiful and thoughtful design, high quality amenities, excellent service and a strong sense of community. To that end, every CLS property delivers both outstanding resident living experiences and superior career experiences for its employees.

Elliot J. Tamir, co-founder of Vesper Holdings said, "Vesper Holdings has a clear vision of what the resident and employee experience should be and will execute it through CLS.  Our goal is to provide the top-tier atmosphere found in high end boutique hotels with a primary focus on customer service, hospitality, a social environment, a top tier fitness program and groundbreaking design to drive demand for our communities. With CLS, I believe we have assembled the best team in the industry."

On the design side, Vesper tapped top New York interior designer Jon Call, to create nothing less than the extraordinary for each of its properties.  Named one of House Beautiful's designers to watch, Call's work has been featured in The New York TimesElle Décor and Interior Design Magazine.

In addition to the launch of CLS, Vesper is proud to introduce its latest project, The Ivy, a 1002-bed property located within walking distance to the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Created to operate in a fashion more akin to club than your every day off-campus student property, The Ivy will feature  lifestyle programming for its residents, from chef-led cooking classes to fitness classes, to tournaments and games, in addition to best-in-class services, amenities and stunning design unlike anything ever seen in student housing.  Riffing on the notion of an Ivy League Club, Mr. Call reimagined the architectural elements and design motifs typical of traditional clubhouses for a modern digital community. As a nod to location, the palm print motif and color scheme of the exclusive VIP poolside cabanas are reminiscent of a 1940s South Florida beach club.
